I am looking for assistance in blocking payments for purchases of products in certain categories on my Stripe account. Specifically, I would like to prevent transactions for any product listed in category X, category Y, and category Z.

sorry I understand that. You said you followed some doc, then you gave me a link that goes nowhere for me. It just loads the Issuing Testing back without any mention for blocked categories. I'm trying to figure out what exact part of the doc you are following

For the first time today I took to work with Issuing cards. I need to test the blocked categories that are selected. How do I test it?

I mean you must have come from somewhere to get to that random URL link that doesn't work for me. Asking you for that information is relevant and if you could take the time to share that, it would be great
Otherwise, I think the "category" we use is based on the Account where you make the payment. So it's based on that Account's MCC.
What I have done is look at the Issuing Authorization after the test payment, that gives me that account's current category inside merchant_data[category] and then I added that category in the blocked ones and it blocked the payment
