Are you getting any errors from any API or SDK calls that you are making?
Devon - Terminal
I'm not making any calls, it is online but I receive this message : https://support.stripe.com/questions/my-point-of-sale-application-cannot-connect-to-the-reader
Have you tried the suggestions on that page to see if it is a networking issue?
The instructions are extremely complicated, I am not an IT tech. Is there someone who can show me how to fix this, or fix this?
Is there any specific part of that doc that you are struggling with or is it all of it? Unfortunately doing that would be very dependent on how your network is set up so we may not have more specific instructions for much of those suggestions
Ok! I'm not sure how to check this "Please ensure the following protocols, ports, and IP addresses are allowlisted within your LAN:
TCP port 4443
TCP port 443 (HTTPS)
UDP port 53 (DNS)"
Ivve looked into my network settings but not sure how I add the Stripe into the network settings
For those, you don't have to allow Stripe specifically, just make sure that those ports are allowed to be used on your network in general
I believe this would be more of your router settings. I will check if there is specific advice I can give here and get back to you
It may be worth hiring someone who can do this kind of setup for you as Terminal can often be technical like this to set up or troubleshoot when something goes wrong. Advice from Stripe can be pretty limited here as again a lot of this is very dependent on your specific setup
So I have to hire someone and pay for them to come fix stripe? Is there not someone from stripe who can fix this if I've paid for this service?
