Awesome thanks! I think that should be ok, I think if a customer abandons before paying we would be able to void the invoice unless there's a way to not use invoices or to apply a payment to an invoice before its finalized

If you need automatic tax, you'll have to use invoices

But yeah you can void in that scenario
