I was able to confirm on my end and any attempt to charge the Payment Method may result in the issuing bank requesting authentication and resulting in a requires_action status. You'd want to check for Payment Intents with this status.

Is there a requires_action status that would tell me I need to present the sheet again? Like a value specific to that I would look for?

When I add a card to stripe through Google Pay there's no indication I can see that it came from Gpay, so i'm not sure how i would know that action is specifically required to show the sheet again
