We don't really support line_items with PaymentIntents directly so I'm curious what you are actually doing

For context we are using a line_items_beta=v1 on the version override, and the line item data is added to the paramsBuilder by way of putAllExtraParams().

Ah okay that makes more sense. Unfortunately we can't discuss betas here as this is a public forum. You should reach out to your contact at Stripe who got you access to the beta for more help with this.
