Hello! That's correct, there's no way to prevent the immediate finalization of the first Invoice for a Subscription. Your goal is to add custom fields to the first Invoice for a Subscription?

Yes that's right.

Mainly to show customer which business they purchased a subscription plan for. Ex: Bobby's Burgers

I can send an extra email so the customer gets the necessary information and hopefully an extra feature can be added on subscription creation to edit the invoice created.

I double-checked, and there's currently no way to do this. There is a feature request that we're tracking internally to add custom fields to the first Invoice for a Subscription, and I'll +1 it for you. But for now, yeah, there's no way to do this unfortunately. The extra email sounds like a viable workaround.
