Hey @bitter echo ! I'm not sure what you call request.method? There is no such thing as a method property in the request hash on Event.

I believe this property is what determines to display Dashboard or Api in this area of an event request

That is purely in the Dashboard and nothing else though. There is no way in the API when looking at an Event object to know if it came from a Dashboard request or not
