Look at one of the Payments in your Stripe Dashboard that doesn't look right to you. In the upper left section you should see an ID that starts with pi_. If you click on it that should copy the ID. You can paste it here safely (no one can do anything with it but you).

when the stripe is trying to authenticate the card, the price shown is 0

so backend is not able to create new subscription

Sure, if there is some issue with the account. But in that case you should see the error messages in your Stripe Dashboard.
