You can do this by API just for Custom Accounts https://stripe.com/docs/api/accounts/update#update_account-business_type
That's not possible for Standard or Express Accounts

So for Express accounts, once the user selects Individual or Business, there is not option to change it again?

Yes, but I think there could be other criteria to choose the type of Stripe Connect, I'd recommend to check this guide first before making a choice:

That would be awesome. I'm currently using Mercury bank to send International Wires in USD to Jamaican USD bank accounts for free so I know this is possible.
