We do indicate for Subscription payments that the payment is recurring

We don't for just a one-off off_session.

It mostly just depends on the bank for what they care about.

Thank you for your reply, what I'm wondering is that if we setup a subscription by our side, not using Subscription payments, and manage the recurring payments using off_session payments each time we need to add a month to the user, will there be a différence in treatment by the banks ? Will they be more likely to ask for more steps to authorize payments ?

In terms of authentication, no.

We will apply the same authentication exemption if the payment method is set up correctly regardless of one-off or Subscription payment if they are off-session
