How can we help?

Oh thank god. Okay so I am a customer from stripe not a developer. I am completely aware that this is for developers but I am in a bit of a hurry and no one is helping me out. So recently I just purchased a subscription that was powered by Stripe something called "*DIGITAL" and at the checkout page it stated that I will be able to cancel my subscription anytime. Well anyway It's been 20 minutes and there isn't anything that is helping me with canceling. I've been stressed out and nobody has responded or anything. I even tried contacting the seller but I dont think I will hear from them any time soon. What should I do?

Hello? river?

As the service is provided by the seller, Stripe has no visibility how their subscription cancellation process is like for the seller. I'd recommend waiting for the seller to get back.

#

If the seller doesn't get back for some time such as a week, you may want to reach out to your bank to cancel the payment

Alright, I think that's probably what I'm gonna end up doing.

Thank you, river.

Wait, one more question. I've seen like some youtube videos on how the devs can actually see subscriptions or what not and have the ability to cancel or pause them. So I'm a bit confused on how you said you guys have no visibility..

The visibility here refers to how the seller handles the subscription process. For example, some sellers may want to cancel the subscription when the customer's account is closed. We don't know the criteria of how sellers determine the cancellation process

#

Some may want to give credits; and some may refund to the customer in the form of subscription cancellation. We don't have the visibility on the subscription agreement between sellers and customers

#

Stripe only helps to collect payment

Ahhh I see. Yes I actually just contacted a Stripe customer service and they explained just like you did. Thank you, I think its best if I contact my bank since I doubt the seller will actually see it. Thank you again River. :)
