Subscription Invoices represents the "previous" period. But the first Invoice is an exception since there is no previous period, hence it shows the same period_start and period_end

But if the invoice is for subscriptions, how do i show the invoice period for it e.g like if purchased monthly subscription today so the period i want to show is Feb 1st - March 1st.

You can look at the lines item's period_start and period_end
