it should be eric+test_email@gmail.com for example not eric@gmail.com

Ah...sorry, I was inferring that it just needed to be a valid email.

the + thing is a really common feature across all/most email providers nowadays, it's just an alias to your normal email

#

If your email provider doesn't support this then yeah you would have to set it up manually
