Thank you for the question and for keeping privacy in mind
Is this for a time you charged a user or that you send a payout to their bank account?
no, we make a transfer to usr
i want to edit the Messager From Payer section
user*
via api
is it possible
Gotcha, checking in to whether that statement descriptor can be set by you
Hi there 👋 since you're referring to Transfers, it sounds like you're talking about a scenario that uses Connect.
In this scenario, do you only make Transfers to your Connected Accounts, or do you also explicitly control their Payouts?
just connected user
If you don't control the Payouts or settings for the Connected Accounts you're working with, then you have no influence over the statement descriptor that is used for those.
can you explain more?
dont get it
i need to get access to my connected user stripe account ?
Sorry, I'm not sure I understand. Are you the Platform or one of the Connected Accounts in this scenario?
Aimer-payout-statement-descriptor
i am the platform
when i make a transfer to my customer, (business cost), i want to configure the message that i send to them to my own custom message
There is a two step process here:
- You create a Transfer to the Connected Account
- Stripe creates a Payout for the Connected Account (which can include more than just your Transfer)
What type of Connected Account are you using for your integration?
Sorry for the confusion, those step numbers were not part of the question, they were there to articulate that there are two steps to this process and that what the Payout includes may be more than just your Transfer.
What type of Connected Accounts are you using for your integration? (Standard, Custom, or Express)?
standard
Thank you for that clarification. With Standard accounts you as the Platform do not have control over the Connected Account's Payout settings, and are unable to influence the statement descriptor that is used for those.
