Could you please tell me under what circumstances invoice::total_excluding_tax would be null? We're looking at two near identical invoices for a customer and one has a value for this property (in_1Lew9YHZLNwo79RqygObkntb), and one does not (in_1JWcByHZLNwo79Rq99xbwDHJ).

it seems that the 2 invoices have been generated far apart when in between we introduced a change https://stripe.com/docs/changelog#june-21,-2022 that adds support to the different {}_excluding_tax amounts

Changelog

Keep track of every change to the Stripe API.

this is why in the old invoice you don't have access to that field

because it was created before this API change
