Hi, are you asking if it's possible to 'hold/freeze' funds in your Stripe balance so that you can later transfers these funds to your connected account?

yep, that's exactly right

There is not a way to 'hold/freeze' funds in your Stripe balance. The only way to control this is to create your Payouts manually

sure: at the moment of charge, we are not yet confirmed to transfer those funds to the Connected amount. (That Connected account may have not delivered the goods that our customer paid for.) So we want to be able add an operational step where we manually confirm that the Connected account had actually delivered the goods, then initiate a transfer to the Connected account

Ah that makes sense. I'm afraid there is not a way to 'hold/freeze' funds in your Stripe balance.

ah okay. So, with destination charges, what happens if we "reverse" a destination charge? E.g. charge gets made to the Connect account, we realize the Connect account should not have received those funds, we initiate a "reversal"

#

does the money reverse to the main platform account, or refund to the customer who was initially charged?

You are not refunding the charge, instead you're just reversing the transfer. I highly recommend that you test this on your end in your test mode environment.

I'll take a look and ask a new question if I have any
