Hi there, a PaymentIntent is needed for a terminal reader to accept a payment. If there's no PaymentIntent, no payment is collected.

I know no payment was collected but the pre dip will take a card and a tip before a payment intent is even created

I think the terminal team definitely has more granular logs from past incidents, I'll reach out to them directly
