What type of connected account are you creating? Standard, Express, or Custom?

For Standard account Stripe is responsible for the onboarding. So if a document is missing, Stripe will directly email the connected account to send the missing information. There's nothing to do on your end.

Same: Stripe will take care of it. It's only for Custom accounts that the platform is responsible for handling onboarding.

Correct, for Standard and Express, Stripe will send emails to the account if any verification is needed. And you, the platform, has nothing to do.
