when i added another subscription for the first instance of the customer, it charged a prorated amount instead of waiting till the next billing cycle as the option indicated
now the customer was billed for something that wasnt to be billed for 3 weeks

Hello @fleet glade ! I don't get what you're describing and why you'd have 2 separate customers if it's about a prorated amount
i sent out a payment link to my first customer
they bought two of the product with separate checkouts
so they have two customer accounts and two subscriptions
im trying to consolidate so my app associates customers with a single account
i was told i cannot "merge" that I need to remove one subscription, delete the duplicated customer, and create a new subscription on the first customer account
my first step was to create the new subscription before deleting the old one
Okay so you are doing all of this manually in the Dashboard?
yes
when i created the new subscription, i used start date today, end date forever, and start billing cycle on Feb 16 (the end of the subscription that Im cancelling in the duplicate customer account)
the option says this is when the next inovice would be created...when i created the sub, it billed them immediately
