Also they are asking what you are really trying to do. Because usually they say that you first export the data, to get it prefilled and then you add what's missing
i'm trying to import 1099 data from a different platform (in our case, Tipalti) that does not exist at all in Stripe.
there's nothing to export/prefill, bc the data does not exist in Stripe.
we were told we'd be able to use this method to file 1099s through Stripe, but i'm starting to think that the 1099 product is only possible to use when there is at least some income paid out to the users via Stripe
what does that mean? Who are you in this world?
we are the payer who is paying out connected accounts, and we paid users through Tipalti for 2022, so we're looking to import the 1099 data from Tipalti into Stripe so we can file 1099s through Stripe.
Can I ask who told you you could do this through Stripe?

the last error i was getting was Form ID '' found in multiple rows (connected account acct_1MEJWcRRgXSRn29P produced a row with this error, for example),
and i got this after i specified (all unique) connected account ids but no form ids.
I believe it was our account rep, Hilary Platt, but let me confirm that real quick.
