No the original thread was about why automatic payouts were not being initiated with a debit card attached. And in that email the second paragraph mentions automatic payouts only being supported with bank accounts."

Sorry, I'm trying to connect the dots but am getting confused, you mention debit cards but the response provided seems to be talking about credit cards. I'm not sure if this a typo from the individual you were working with, or if different topics are being discussed.

Yes I did. And they must’ve hit a typo because the entire thread was about debit cards specifically since you can’t add credit cards as external accounts on connected accounts.

As far as my understanding goes, automatic payouts do work with either debit card or bank account

(Double checking with a colleague but I believe the support person you were working with was probably confused)

That's correct, it works fine with debit cards too. This is unfortunately something you'll need to discuss further with our support team. Feel free to mention you spoke to us in Discord @night palm and ask to be escalated to a specialist so that they can help you
