In the U.S.
Gotcha then yes, you can use Separate Charges & Transfers to split funds via Cross-border payouts: https://stripe.com/docs/connect/cross-border-payouts
You will need to onboard Connected Accounts with the recipient service agreement to accomplish this
Ok. I wasn't sure how that worked with us being the connected account with BigCommerce.
From the agreement page, it sounds like we are a connnected account from the main BigCommerce account.
Sorry if that doesn't make sense.
Ah I see what you are saying.
So yeah BigCommerce can't do this part for you
As in -- they can facilitate payments to your account (they will be the platform and you the Connected Account), but they can't also transfer those funds.
You would then need to handle that yourself in terms of making the transfers to your own Connected Accounts (where you would act as the platform)
We don't allow interaction between a "grandfather platform" and "grandchildren accounts" if that makes sense
Yes that makes sense. We fully planned on making the transfer ourselves. but we weren't sure if we as the parents could make additional transfers to our children with funds received from the grandparents.
Yep you can.
Thanks @hushed ridge - that's super helpful!
