Out of curiosity, where is your reader located? What type of test card are you using?
I am the developer - it is located in my home - but ultimately will be in stores used by our customers
Test card is the one you see in the picture - I did not know there was more than 1 type

I'n seeing some errors related to using live cards with test mode to payments
I tried a live card yesterday
This suggests the reader is working fine
Yes I think it is - I just need a way to test with a test card
Yes I suspect the issue may be with the test card itself.
I bought 2 of them and they both fail

Yes I'm sorry to say it sometimes happens. We get a bad batch of cards from the manufacturer.
I was checking if you had an account rep before I recommended you go to Support to request replacement cards
Ok so I should go to support and request that?
Fortunately we can replace them at no additional cost to you
