Unsure of what the difference are between what you describe and Account Debits

ok. From what I can see, the only difference is the fee (and I guess that account debit can also automatically debit from the connected account bank if the balance become negative).

Checking in again. Seems the transfers method is the old, deprecated method to do this and is not encouraged. Regarding Account Debits, I'd speak to support re: fees for that
