Apologies, but I'm not recognizing most of this flow as it is still in a beta status. While this project is in beta issues should be reported through its github repo.

I came across this post, which seems to have similar contents of the reader object as what you showed.

There it sounds like the entire reader object was provided the connectBluetoothReader
