I don't see any 404 response related this PaymentIntent

Is the 404 coming from a different PaymentIntent?

jolly rampart
#

Yes I'm here

heady swallow
#

so we developed a referral program and we're using paymentintents

#

but i just came across Connect

#

the current methodology is:
user pays for subscription using intent

user refers friends or whatver
we pay them via Paypal

#

is Connect a better solution for this?

jolly rampart
#

I don't quite understand, can you tell what you want to achieve?

heady swallow
#

pay out users for their referrals

#

commission

#

customers get paid commission for referrals every month. is this better achieved with Connect or carry on using PayPal?

jolly rampart
#

I can't comment on other products

heady swallow
#

what

#

Connect is Stripe isn't it

jolly rampart
#

Connect is, but Paypal isn't.

@heady swallow What you described is not really possible with Stripe. You can only share commission to a Connected Account if they are your business partner / vendor, for example if you are Uber and sharing commission to drivers

#

What can come close is that don't use Connect, but instead when your customer refer their friend, you give them some Coupon or Discount to use in future payment

#

Connect is complicated, and have specific use cases

heady swallow
#

I see. I thought connect streamlined payouts to users. Which is what I’d be doing. Paying out users every month.

Connect also comes with fee
