When you create a PaymentIntent, you will get the PaymentIntent ID in the API response.

Are you using Checkout Sessions API or PaymentIntent API?

How do you create a PaymentIntent then? did you write any code or you are using a plugin to create one for you?

im not following im sorry. let me give you a proper context and then see what I can do

I have my shopify store / account. I added stripe as a third party payment provider. So effectively now Stripe is connected to my Shopify

#

and In the checkout you can see CC payment optiones processed by stripe

#

so that is working fine

#

The issue though is that Sofort payment option in the shopify checkout should also be appearing since it is as well turned on in my Stripe account

#

But for a reason I do not understand, it is missing in the checkout

#

so we can say stripe integration to shopify is ok but just presenting this issue

Can you share with me your merchant ID? you can find it from the Stripe Dashboard -> Settings ->Account Details

OK. based on a recent log https://dashboard.stripe.com/logs/req_N0AS2vn6u487RA, the sofort payment_method is indeed active.

However, I don't see any requests to create neither PaymentIntent or CheckoutSession, which are pre-requisite to render a checkout page/
