If it's for covering refunds and disputes, you can add funds to a separate Stripe balance in order to cover them: https://stripe.com/docs/add-funds

Other than that, you can obviously hold the funds from payments in your platform's balance, but that requires you accept payments from customers.

Cover increased refunds and chargebacks by adding funds to your balance.

Are you already processing payments with Stripe? Or is your account still pretty new?

Yes we are processing payments to the platform and also have multi party payments setup and working with customers. Sorry dont know if i should say the $ figure we are doing

These funds are to cover referral fee's / bonus payouts to connected accounts.

We were thinking about bashing together the payments workflow to have funds on the platform balance but that is not a ideal solution

That's fair. Mostly I wanted to see if there were a novel solution, but the only one I know if is a private beta and I can only really refer you if I had more information about your account. To that end, can you give me your account ID? Looks like --> acct_abc123
