how to record card information to debit your customers later
Can you say more about this part? What are you trying to do?
Currently, your paying customers and connected accounts you pay out to are separate. You'd capture the payment method details for a customer separate from the payout details for a connected account.
If the purpose of the "payments" is collecting fees associated with your platform, note that for express & custom accounts you have the option of using Account Debits to collect those: https://stripe.com/docs/connect/account-debits
hello yes I am doing a deposit platform in seasonal rental. I have set up connect and it works, I would have liked it if when a client has a deposit in place that it captures the credit card for future payment if there is damage and it is necessary to take a part or all of the deposit.
You can see how payment method can be saved for future payments here: https://stripe.com/docs/payments/save-during-payment
Managing the deposit funds will be your responsibility though, as you cannot place a long term hold on a card. You'll have to capture the payment within 7 days maximum.
I was considering putting this in place : https://stripe.com/docs/payments/save-and-reuse?platform=web#create-customer
If there is a need for a guarantee deposit, please contact https://stripe.com/docs/connect/charges-transfers
I would like to know if this is feasible
with the service of blocking a sum of money on a means of payment of 7 days if I put a capture of card at the same time can you renew the blocking bottom?
I don't understand that question, sorry. Can you rephrase?
Capture payment with a blocked credit card has 7 days little ton associate a record the details of the card and to invoice your customers later.
if the rental lasts more than 7 days, for example
You would need to capture the payment in that case, and refund later if appropriate or apply to accrued fees
Ok, I understand, it's better to record card information to debit your customers later to reduce the costs. But the risk is that there is no money in the debit
Sure, for a deposit though i'd expect you to take payment
How much is the resourcing fee?
all possibilities should be explored
You can review pricing details for payments and everything else here: https://stripe.com/pricing
Quite welcome
