Hi, the update request appears to be a Dashboard only functionality: https://stripe.com/docs/api/payment_links/payment_links/update#update_payment_link-payment_intent_data. Let me test this and confirm as well.

I know you are away but wanted to let you know that I've reproduced this on my end and confirmed with teammates. It's not supported as changing the payment_intent_data after creation was not something that people wanted to do. I'm flagging this as a feature request for future product reiterations. Thank you.
