What is this metadata for? Metadata is for your system reference and doesn't surface in any customer facing portal

Ok thanks anyway, basically I manged to check if the user was already registered and that now works but the customer portal just says "pro" "pro" etc... I'm trying to have it so the customer can purchase subscriptions for other users, so ideally it would be pro (wayne) pro (river) etc

I see! The subscription name displayed for new subscription is based on the product name and it can't be customised per customer basis.

Maybe I might have to make my own portal that way I can do it using the metadata 🤔
