It's hard to give an explicit timeline as the root cause was only just identified, but I would be surprised if it was not fixed in the next couple of hours

Hi @proud flame just wanted to drop back in real quick to mention that the issue seems to be resolved. Retry cancelling the Payment Intent again and let us know if it still isn't working for you.
I’ll keep an eye, my application will eventually try to cancel some payment intents automatically
