Thanks Snufkin for coming back so quickly. I did have a look at thisalready and randomly found a version 4.2 that loaded into .net 4.0 but there was no "USING STIPE.CHECKOUT" available which the code in the above STRIPE support articles needs. Do you know the most recent version of STRIPE.NET that is compatible with .net 4.0?
