hi! do you have some more context on that?
yes just a bit more, this started a few days ago
it was around the time we switched our api requests to use restricted keys
i believe we may have made too many requests w/ incorrect api keys and are now blocked by stripe's api
do you have some examples/specific error messages etc?
Unexpected error communicating with Stripe. If this problem persists, let us know at support@stripe.com. (Network error: ConnectTimeout: HTTPSConnectionPool(host='api.stripe.com', port=443): Max retries exceeded with url: /v1/accounts (Caused by ConnectTimeoutError(<urllib3.connection.HTTPSConnection object at 0x7fe2e42a4700>, 'Connection to api.stripe.com timed out. (connect timeout=80)')))
this error will intermittenly disappear and thing swill work again for a while then this will reappear
sounds like an ISP/network problem then and not something like Stripe blocking you
same as my colleague was saying last week really
i believed so too but our infrastructure provider cannot see anything wrong from their end or in our settings
and has mentioned to reach back out
not much we can do on an anonymous Discord thread really
if you need help with this you should reach out to https://support.stripe.com/?contact=true with much more information in a detailed email
- exact outgoing IP addresses of your servers
- exact UTC timestamps of specific instances of getting errors
- exact error messages
- output of the reachability script as run on a server having an issue
- any other information you have
ok thank you
