I'd recommend using separate charges and transfers in this case (provided if you're using Express or Custom connected accounts): https://stripe.com/docs/connect/charges-transfers

You will create a payment first, then transfer the funds to multiple connected accounts with Transfers API

on this thread.. can you create an "on behalf of" payment intent and then later transfer the money to multiple connect accounts?
