yes all objects are created on the platform when you use Destination or OBO
including (but not limited to) customers
just to be sure
so is Direct charge best option for custom connect account
this way Customer gets created under Connect account
but the problem with that is it create customer as guest so how to overcome that
My business model is we will multiple people hosting events through us so we collect and directly send money to Vendor connect account and charge adminstrative charge for each transaction

for Custom Connect Account we don't recommend using Direct Charges at all

We happy to progress with Destination charge
but how to handle customer not getting tagged on Connect account
its is easier to get Customer also reflected on Connect account so we can trace if and when required
the reason why is because in Direct Charges, the Account needs to handle refunds, disputes, top-ups etc. but since they are a Custom Account they don't have access to a Stripe Dashboard to be able to do so
and in all cases unless you really have a sufficiently big and well-experienced team we don't recommend using Custom accounts at all
the best option for you is to use Express Accounts

no, they will still be created under the Platform
but that's not a big of a deal to be honest
if you want you can add a metadata field to specify to which connected account this customer belongs to
but what if the customer wants to purchase from multiple Connected Accounts?
depending on your business models there are different choices to make

For us Custom is best option as we can onboard vendor easier through our door to door marketing team
is there any thing we need to be mindful for selecting express instead of Custom
In that case maybe you should use Custom
We have quite robust developer team
so we should go with custom plus destination charges
so dispute can be handled
easier
the disputes/refunds will be handled by the platform account in this case
but this also means that the Stripe fees will be paid by the platform

We had issue with direct charge where all connect account were locked
so in this instance as platform is collecting payment for multiple connect account we won't face issue where entire platform will be locked due to single dispute transaction
just want to make sure our setup is correct
