It looks like you are using Client Only Checkout, which is very old and no longer supported.
And I'm guessing it doesn't support metadata.
Instead I would strongly recommend to use the new Checkout Session, but note that it requires a backend to work: https://stripe.com/docs/payments/accept-a-payment
