Does swiping a real card or using a real card's chip do anything?

Yes, it reads and taps just fine. Payment gets rejected.

The Test Card and WisePOE were not ordered under Test Mode. Is that ok?

Yeah, that's fine. i don't think we have test-mode only devices anyway. All Terminal devices should be usable in both test and live mode
