If one of our clients provide us with a virtual credit card (VCC) and says it can't be charged until x date because its not yet active. Can it still be tokenized and assigned to said customer?

You can try, but the verification might fail. Doesn't hurt to try though

Probably depends on what the issuer will return about the card
