Hi 👋 most email generation is suppressed within test mode, though some features still allow you to trigger emails through the Stripe dashboard or will generate emails if the email address exactly matches the email address of the Stripe account owner.

Is there a specific type of email that you're trying to test?

Are you asking if you can use Stripe as your mail server to send your own custom emails? If so, that is not something that is we offer or support.

Yes, you can enable a feature where we automatically send receipts for successful payments, which can be found here:
https://dashboard.stripe.com/settings/emails

In test mode we don't automatically send out receipt emails. You will get invoice emails if they use the exact email address that your Stripe account uses

That being said, you can manually trigger these emails from your dashboard if you want to see what they will look like

You can see the receipts sent under "Receipt History"
