Gotcha, can you share the ID of a request that returned that message?

Additionally, can you confirm how you're onboarding these accounts, via our Hosted Onboarding experience, or are you collecting the necessary information for your accounts through your own flow and using the API to provide that information to us?

yeah. I thought that js const account = await stripe.accounts.create({ . . . documents: { bank_account_ownership_verification: { files: [verificationDocument], }, }, }); might work but still getting this message

Thanks your patience while I dug in, based on what I'm seeing it looks like the bank account number that you used when creating that Connected Account isn't one of our known test account numbers, which I believe is why the verification process is being triggered but I don't think you'll be able to complete that successfully since it isn't a real account.

If you use one of our test bank account numbers, is this verification requirement avoided?
