Yep, that would be a great use for them as long as you are trying to restrict by type of object. You can't say "only payments from site X show up with this key" but you can restrict site X's key to only see certain kinds of objects like payments, payouts, transfers, etc

right. my concern is that the regular key has access to internal only data that should never be available to the outside world.

Creating separate accounts might also make sense depending on how you want to separate things. The one difficulty that immediately comes to mind is that if you have payment method details saved on your current single account, the user would either need to put their info again on the new site, or you'd need to check with our support team to see if they can migrate payment method info between accounts here
