because according to my understanding at least this actually happened to us. a person paid for a subscription with their bank and for some reason the subscriptions status gets updated to active before the payment goes through. well a person paid for a subscription with their bank got access to our service and then the payment failed. why does it work this way

also why is the bank option enabled on my account when in the payments tab in stripe it says to turn on which implies that its off

and i dont know if they will go through so activating the subscription without knowing if the payment was good is not what we want to do
you'll want to turn off the PaymentMethods that you don't want as an option in https://dashboard.stripe.com/settings/billing/invoice for Subscriptions

will that cause the same issues as ach debit transfer
also how can i enable apple and google pay because it says that its enabled for the account but i dont see that option in the menu you directed me towards
Apple and Google Pay are enabled by default if you've enabled Card as a payment method option
you can read more about ach credit transfer here : https://stripe.com/docs/sources/ach-credit-transfer. Yes, it may cause similar issues so you may want to disable it also

so I did a custom integration and in order to see the payment page you need to make an account

you need to have a real valid card in your wallet
this applies to both Google and Apple Pay ( in case you're not seeing the option)

So Apple Pay isn't showing as an option because you need to register the domain (it's not done yet)
