Hi again 🙂

Hi!

So if that is true, then you could accept payments for one Connected Account and transfer some of those funds to another Connected Account

violet pine
#

Even if the payment is coming from squarespace?

#

like all payments coming from squarespace will go to two different stripe accounts?

fresh holly
#

Squarespace is facilitating payments into your Stripe Account, correct?

violet pine
#

yes

#

What if the stripe account was a connect or express account. So a percentage of each sale made to the account will go to the admin account (mine)

#

And the connect or express account will be the account connected to squarespace

Not sure I fully understand the model that you are proposing. But as long as funds are in your platform account, and you have a Connected Account in the same region/country, then you can transfer those funds to the Connected Account if you so desire

Here's the flow I'm thinking about...

  1. User places order through squarespace booking
  2. Squarespace sends order to stripe
  3. Stripe sends a percentage to my account

So if 2 is a platform account then it could transfer a percentage into your account in step 3

#

But you can't "pull" the funds to your account from the platform. The platform would have to transfer them

violet pine
#

That process won't be able to be optimized with every transaction?

fresh holly
#

It can, yes.

#

If the platform writes the code to create those transfers

Okay now I understand

thank you
