If you only want to support ACH debit then you would use the API

And you would explicitly set us_bank_account as the payment_method_types

Understood, so this is not simply just creating a link in your dashboard but it has to use API. correct?

You can't select for only us_bank_account in your Dashboard. Card will always be included if you create the link in your Dashboard
