Real quick, are you using setup_future_usage: 'off_session'? I thought this tells the reader not to prompt for Tap as a payment option: https://stripe.com/docs/terminal/features/saving-cards/save-after-payment

Save card details from an in-person transaction for deferred payments.

I did try it and it did allow me to tap

It shouldn't have let me because it can't save the card

Actually, the screen says to Tap, but when I tap it does error out

Okay, yeah I could see that being a less than ideal flow and I'm happy to put in a feature request that changes the screen to more accurately reflect that tap is not an option

Actually ... it failed out properly for my debit card, but let the tap through for my credit card
