Standard Accounts offer less control to the Platform. You can see an overview here:

So currently, I get payment from clients via our booking software which is integrated with Stripe. Then I standard transfer the money to another bank account where I then pay the contractors/cleaners
If I set up just the Standard Connect, would I still be able to keep that flow of Client -> Me -> Contractor. Or does the Standard plan not allow that?
You can but it is not recommended. That would be a Destination charge funds flow: https://stripe.com/docs/connect/destination-charges#flow-of-funds-app-fee. These are recommended for Express/Custom accounts instead.
Okay got it, thanks for clarifying. So I plan to sign up for Express eventually probably 2-3 months time. Do you think it's best to just not use Connect for now? or do you think in that case the Standard would suffice temporarily?
