hi! you can test all this in test mode(https://stripe.com/docs/testing#regulatory-cards), not sure I follow the exact question.

The integration works fine, tested all the scenarios using the test-cards and it looks good.

When using a real credit-card it seems like Visa is skipping the 3dsecure validation, simply a loading gif with a VISA logo that redirects me to the nextUrl, without requesting for a code.

Did another test using a real mastercard and this time it did ask for a code.

Is that something that I can control?

yeah, that can happen, it's called frictionless authentication

and no you don't control this as the merchant and it doesn't really matter or change anything from your perspective in terms of how the payment is accepted and liability shift for disputes
