How did you get the payment method in the first place?
Was the payment method collected via Setup Intent?
Could you share a customer ID please?

Unless you updated a customer to set the new payment method as default_payment_method, you will be able to find it if you use Payment Methods API: https://stripe.com/docs/api/payment_methods/customer_list
If a saved payment method fails when you try to charge it, you will have to request to set up a new payment method from the user.
i mean scenario where customer have multiple payment method associated
suppose to have 2 payment method that work and 1 that not work
