ah ok. Then no, that's not possible, the description is just something we generate automatically.

Depending on your use case you can probably put the information you want in metadata of the payment you create, and then retrieve that from the API when doing reporting or use the Report API to access it or download the CSV export and run it through some code you write to augment it with extra information from calling the API
